Kip Winsett, Human Design System Pro Blog

Kip Winsett’s blog explores Human Design through a grounded, analytical lens that goes far beyond surface-level spirituality. Drawing on 25+ years of professional experience, Kip writes about decision-making, conditioning, relationships, work, consciousness, and the mechanics of how people actually function. This blog is for readers who want more than inspiration. It’s for people looking for clarity, deeper understanding, and practical insight into themselves and the systems shaping their lives.

“One thing the Human Design System does rather well is to offer a few places to stand to look at yourself in a somewhat objective fashion. This is not an easy thing to do. For example,

Swimming beneath the surface of the ocean, my view of what constitutes the ocean is somewhat limited. Surfing the waves, my view is much different. Standing on the shore my view of the ocean is again different, as it is if I stand on a hill high above. If I row around in a glass-bottomed boat, I see yet other aspects. And, of course, a microscope offers a significantly different view.

To some extent, my own personal appreciation of Human Design is due to this built-in range of potential views of the ocean that constitutes myself and others. It offers multiple layers of complexity and dynamics for pursuing self-observation or observation of others. And maybe even compassionate understanding of others.”

Understanding the Riddle of the Right Angle Cross of the Sphinx Kip Winsett, Human Design System Pro Blog

MOST POPULAR BLOG POST

This question is presented by their aura to everyone who comes into it. “What is your story?” they, the Sphinx, ask of their world. They are the timeless riddles that people ponder.

Understanding the Riddle of the Sphinx

Without them doing anything, people are drawn to look at them, to wonder about them, and to therefore wonder about themselves. To ask themselves, where am I going?  When the Sphinx feels secure in their knowledge, they can answer those people.

The Sphinx offers guidance to others based on logic – secure patterns for the future – and their own experience. This doesn’t mean the Sphinx has to take charge of them; they are naturally designed to point the way and offer encouragement.

Simply by being, the Sphinx offers others the possibility of transformation from the old to the new. To those who merit it, the Sphinx is willing to offer guidance, to explain their direction and why they aim for it. As long as they stay true to their type and authority, then the Sphinx’s direction will always be right for them and their world.

Bridges of Being: The Integration Channels in Human Design

The Human Design chart is a map with roads and tunnels. "Roads and tunnels" is the phrase that refers to the definitions in our Human Design chart that appear colored in black or red when the chart is calculated. The calculations appear on the bodygraph in these two...

Circuitry of Kinship: The Tribal Circuit Part 1

Let’s start with what Ra calls the “Tribal Group”, as this is essentially the foundation upon which human life depends. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that this circuit group is “primitive” – it’s not. Nor is it unsophisticated or simple. In Human Design, all 3 of...

The 6th Line On and Off the Roof in Human Design

The Journey of the 6th Line in Human Design The 6th line in Human Design is an archetype with a unique flavor of wisdom — a life trajectory distinct from the other lines. If you’re a 6th line being (or have several 6th lines in your chart), chances are you’ve felt the...

The Defined Mind: Brain vs Mind Decoded

FIRST, IT'S IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE BRAIN AND MIND ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS (BEFORE WE DELVE INTO THE DEFINED MIND). The Brain The brain is a physical organ. Of the many theories I have read about the mind, I prefer the one that describes the mind as a map...

Human Design Insights: Exploring the 3 Big Realities

The world and life aren’t all that neat and tidy. We just go to extreme lengths to make them appear that way in order to give us a sense of security. That sense of security is often shaken and we’re left wondering "Hey! What the heck just happened?" Let me explain a...

Pulling Us In: The Magnetic Monopole’s Role in Human Design

The Magnetic Monopole In Human Design one of the things we work with is a variety of elements such as personality, design, authority, defined centers, and channels. What brings everything together is the magnetic monopole, which sits in the G Center. It is the larger...
