Human Design Reading for Leonardo DiCaprio

In this Human Design Reading, these are some brief excerpts from Leonardo DiCaprio’s design.

PROFILE: 6/2 

As a 6/2, Leo finds it nearly impossible to live by anything or with anyone he cannot trust. Once someone betrays his trust, he’s inclined to create a powerful barrier against ever engaging with them again. He can still be social with them, but not necessarily intimate. He has a personality that embodies a pure transpersonal skill, so he can always interact with the other at the surface level. As a 6/2, he’s here to be a leader.

Determined leader, or not, is the theme of the 6/2 profile. Like all leaders, he maintains a natural separation from whoever he’s interacting with. He can always be a leader of others, but can he finally join in the struggle, join in the process? Well, that is the ultimate determination of whether the 6/2 profile is complete in its life.

TYPE: Projector 

As a Projector, one of the challenges for Leo is the tendency to get caught up in his vision of how it all should be and forget there is a reality apart from that. Things change very dramatically once he is recognized for who he is (persona, skills, etc.). It’s a very specific recognition that changes everything because then there is a connection, an alignment between his internal view of reality and external reality.

Wherever he is, he’s seen but frequently he’s seen for who he is not. In some ways, he will get more recognition than any other type, which can leave him in a semi-vulnerable position. As a Projector, he wants to actively engage in manifesting the vision he sees. Even a hint that he has been seen can encourage him to take actions that might be rebuffed or speak words that might be ignored.

AUTHORITY: Emotional 

Leo doesn’t have to discard logic or ignore practical considerations; he just needs to understand that his emotional system is an essential component of his decision-making process. This isn’t a case of “emotion versus logic.” Rather, it’s about realizing that emotions and logic can coexist and inform one another. The interplay between his emotional wave and rational thinking brings forth decisions that are nuanced, balanced, and truly his.

Embracing his emotional authority doesn’t mean he’ll never make a wrong decision. However, it does mean that his decisions will be deeply connected to who he is. And with each decision, he’ll become more attuned to his emotional system and find it easier to surrender to it and trust it more.

This approach may feel counterintuitive in a world that often values immediate answers and quick decisions. However, honoring his emotional authority leads to decisions that are more authentic and aligned with his true self.

About Leo’s Defined Heart or Ego Center

He’s someone who is willful and who can deliver on promises he makes. The Ego is a source of energy and willpower. It is the driving force in business and the material plane, so it’s always under a lot of pressure. The ego keeps the family together and strong and ensures survival on the material plane. The ego is a warrior.

He already knows how uncomfortable others can be with the power of his ego. He also has a sense of natural self-esteem and self-value. In a sense, he’s like a bulldozer – always just pushing ahead with his willpower.

Because Leo has an ego, he always knows his worth, and will always demand to be paid what he’s worth. It’s also important for the ego to rest. He should only make promises he wants to keep, otherwise people will lose trust in him. This is another reason why it is so important for him to ensure that he operates from his emotional authority.

CHANNEL: 26-44

This channel is a projected channel and consequently needs recognition and invitation; however, as with all projected channels, the invitation needs to come only once for the Surrender transmission to take place thereafter. The message that he transmits to the Tribe/community is that he is protective of himself through continually improving himself.

Surrender comes about through the combination of a fear of the old/past (44) and interacting with a willingness for improvement (26). He can be very creative in replacing old standards with new ones. Through this channel, he can bring an improvement to old concepts, particularly on the material level. All channels connecting to the Ego Center have an inherent need to be rewarded for services rendered. And, this channel can create art that is directly marketed for financial reward.

CHANNEL: 37-40

He can summon the formidable energy of his willpower to drive toward achieving his heart’s desire, whatever it may be – fame, fortune, and/or power. However, this channel also provides the energy to truly take care of his community by being able to bring people together for the common good.

Leo is quite gifted at building strong bonds based on trust and honesty, where everyone pitches in and pulls their weight. He also likes to combine business and pleasure in a family manner. He is adept at hosting large gatherings where he shares his largesse and toasts and embraces everyone in his world. This gift enables him to easily attract the kinds of people who will help him in his endeavors to have a successful life.

What makes this channel stand out as such a powerful resource on the material plane is that it combines the two essential roles for the success of any community: the natural ability to make correct decisions FOR the community and to keep order IN the community.

CHANNEL: 4-63

This channel is a projected mental channel that is designed to apply critical perception to all things to make sure that they are still valid for Leo in his life. As a collective channel, the perception is never personal, but about sharing his doubts and solutions to keep agendas and programs fresh and up to date.

The 63 is called “After Completion” and starts a sequence of logical concepts through doubts! The 4 is called Youthful Folly”, implying that it is foolish for him to presume that he can fix doubts permanently with mental concepts. Doubts, once resolved, return in revised forms and need revised solutions.

As with all mental definitions, he needs to clearly understand that the mind is a great “reference library,” but not a place from which to make personal decisions. The mind provides translation of confusion, mystery, and doubts into concepts that are transferable into speech for others to consider.

INCARNATION CROSS: Left Angle Cross of Defiance

His life theme centers on defying the old belief systems he encounters. These include seeking alternative paths that may lead to greater heights or simply offering different perspectives. He’s likely to flip the script on any aspect of life that he believes needs redirection, using every argument or principle at his disposal.

Leo’s a rebel against any outdated and ineffective social norms, striving to free himself and others to embrace authenticity. He’s drawn toward those who embrace his creative ideas, forming bonds with those who resonate with his visionary outlook. As long as he follows his type and authority, he will discover his unique voice to defy the status quo.
